AOL Browser and Graphic Image Quality
AOL, as a default, uses graphic compression to speed up the loading of images
on websites. This sometimes causes images to become blurry and out of focus.
To get the most from your internet experience, and this site in particular,
change your settings on your AOL browser.
To do this, go to member preferences, web graphic tab and make sure that the
USE COMPRESSED GRAPHICS checkbox is NOT checked. Once this has been done,
sign off and restart your computer one time to make it take effect from now
on.
This should fix the problem of poor graphic quality on your AOL browser. Of
course, you can always use Netscape or Internet Explorer instead of the AOL
browser to avoid this problem. After signing on to AOL, you are then on the
internet. At that point you may open your preferred browser to access the
web.
